Great to meet you!

I believe in being honest about the therapeutic process—real change doesn’t happen during our meeting times alone. The work we do in session is important, but lasting growth is supported by your willingness to reflect, practice new skills, and stay engaged outside of therapy. I will provide guidance and tools to support you in that process.

Above all, I offer a confidential, supportive space where you can be open and honest without pressure or expectation. Therapy is a place to work through challenges, build insight, and reconnect with yourself—at any stage of your life.

My approach to therapy

I approach therapy as a real, collaborative relationship. I believe meaningful change happens in a space where you feel genuinely seen, heard, and respected—without judgment. My style is warm and empathetic, while also being direct and intentional. I will support you, but I will also gently challenge you when it’s helpful for your growth. My approach is rooted in humanistic principles, meaning I view you as the expert of your own life. Together, we will explore your experiences, identify what matters most to you, and work toward your personal goals in a way that feels authentic and sustainable. I am also trained in EMDR, which can be helpful in processing past experiences that continue to impact your present.

What you can expect from me

The first session is a chance for us to get to know each other and begin building a comfortable, supportive connection. We’ll talk about what brings you to therapy, what you’ve been experiencing, and what you’re hoping to get out of the process.

I’ll ask some questions to better understand your history, current challenges, and strengths, but there’s no pressure to share everything all at once. We’ll move at a pace that feels manageable for you.

You can expect me to be warm, attentive, and engaged, while also helping guide the conversation in a way that feels purposeful. I may offer some initial reflections or insights, and we may begin identifying goals or areas you’d like to focus on moving forward.

I also believe in being transparent about the process—therapy is not just about what happens during our sessions. We may begin discussing small, realistic ways you can reflect or apply what we talk about in your day-to-day life, as meaningful change develops both in and outside of session.

Most importantly, the first session is an opportunity for you to ask questions, get a feel for how I work, and decide if this feels like a good fit for you.
