Great to meet you!

Welcome! I'm Melissa Buddie, LCSW. I provide compassionate care and evidence-based interventions to support mothers through the unique experiences of prenatal and postpartum mental health issues, including postpartum depression and birth trauma. I utilize Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), and mindfulness techniques.

I am a graduate of the University of Wisconsin - Madison and member of Postpartum Support Internation.

My approach to therapy

My ultimate goal is to create a safe and nurturing space where mothers can explore their emotions, thoughts, and experiences without judgment. I strive to normalize the challenges of postpartum depression and help mothers recognize that they are good parents, deserving of support and compassion. Warmth, empathy, and affirmation are at the core of my therapeutic approach.

What you can expect from me

Together, we'll explore and celebrate your strengths as a mother, recognizing the incredible resilience and resourcefulness that you possess.

I am committed to providing you with practical tools and strategies to navigate the ups and downs of postpartum life with greater ease and resilience. From managing the demands of newborn care to coping with the emotional rollercoaster of motherhood, I'll support you in developing practical skills that empower you to thrive.
