Great to meet you!

I’m a licensed therapist with an MA in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Gardner‐Webb University, and I’m dual‐licensed as an LCMHC and LCAS. My background includes 30‐day residential substance use treatment and dual‐diagnosis mental health/addiction work at Atrium Health. I support adults navigating anxiety, depression, substance use, stress, and major life changes. My style is down‐to‐earth and collaborative, and I focus on practical tools that help you feel better in your daily life. I want therapy to feel like a safe, real space where you feel understood and supported.

My approach to therapy

I show up as a real person in the room; compassionate, honest, and grounded. I use evidence‐based approaches like CBT, ACT, Motivational Interviewing, and strengths‐based, relational work to help you understand patterns, build coping skills, and reconnect with your strengths. I believe people already carry a lot of wisdom within them, and therapy is a place to uncover it together. My approach works especially well for adults who feel unheard, overwhelmed, or stuck in cycles they’re ready to break.

What you can expect from me

In our first session, you can expect a calm, welcoming space where we talk about what’s bringing you in and what you want to get out of therapy. We’ll explore your history, your current stressors, and what “feeling better” looks like for you. My goal is for you to leave that first session feeling heard, understood, and clearer about the next steps. There’s no pressure to have everything figured out; we take it one step at a time, together.
