Great to meet you!

Hi, my name is Melissa and I am a Professional Counselor with over a decade of experience providing therapy to adolescents and adults ages 12 and older. My practice is rooted in trauma-informed care and utilizes evidence-based approaches such as EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) and Solution-Focused Therapy to help clients process experiences, reduce distress, and move toward meaningful change. I am also inquisitive and a conversationalist.

My approach to therapy

I work with individuals experiencing ADHD, depression, anxiety, and trauma-related concerns, tailoring treatment to meet each client’s unique needs and strengths. I am open minded and believe in creating a safe, supportive therapeutic environment where clients feel heard, respected, and empowered in their healing process.

Committed to inclusivity and affirming care, I proudly support LGBTQIA+ individuals and strives to ensure that therapy is a welcoming and validating space for all clients. My goal is to help clients build resilience, develop effective coping strategies, and create lasting improvements in their mental health and overall quality of life.

What you can expect from me

My first session with you would be about discussing your needs and making sure we're a good fit. I firmly believe that a level of trust needs to be established for us to have a productive therapeutic relationship.
