Great to meet you!

I am a licensed clinical psychologist with a Doctor of Psychology (PsyD) from the University of Denver. I completed my predoctoral internship at the Royal C. Johnson Veterans' Memorial Hospital and my postdoctoral residency at the Rehabilitation Institute of Michigan, where I received specialized training in neuropsychology, rehabilitation, and health psychology.

I work with young adults, adults, older adults, veterans, and couples, providing evidence-based treatment tailored to each person’s needs. My areas of focus include depression, anxiety, adjustment to chronic medical conditions such as multiple sclerosis, traumatic brain injury, spinal cord injury, and dementias, as well as chronic pain and insomnia.

My approach to therapy

I take a collaborative, compassionate, and warm approach to therapy, working closely with clients to identify meaningful goals and build practical, real-world skills. My style is grounded in creating a supportive, non-judgmental space where clients feel truly heard and understood. I approach each session with curiosity, an open mind, and a healthy dose of humor—believing that connection and authenticity are essential parts of the healing process.

What you can expect from me

In our first session, the focus will be on learning about you, including your background, what brings you to psychotherapy, and what problems you might want to address. We will also work on building treatment goals together and discuss what may or may not work for you in psychotherapy. I'll walk you through what to expect (particularly if this is new for you), and give you an idea of treatment timeline.
