Great to meet you!

If you’ve been carrying anxiety, relationship struggles, family conflict, or simply feeling like life has become harder to navigate, you don’t have to figure it all out on your own. Thank you for considering me as your therapist. I’m a Licensed Professional Counselor with over 10 years of counseling experience and a Master of Arts in Marriage and Family Counseling from New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary. I work with adults facing anxiety, relationship and family challenges, self-esteem concerns, grief, women’s issues, and the unique challenges that can come with aging and geriatric care. I also offer Christian counseling for clients who want their faith to be part of their therapeutic experience. Whatever brings you to counseling, my goal is to understand what you need and help you move toward meaningful change.

My approach to therapy

I bring a warm, direct, and person-centered approach to every client relationship. I believe real change happens within a trusting, genuine connection, and that you should feel comfortable being honest about what you’re experiencing. I use a flexible, integrative approach tailored to your needs rather than believing there is one right way to do therapy. Together, we can explore what is happening beneath the surface, identify what may be holding you back, and work toward practical and meaningful change. If you choose Christian counseling, I will incorporate your faith and spiritual beliefs into our work in a thoughtful way that aligns with your values.

What you can expect from me

Our first session will be about getting to know each other and understanding what you want to get out of counseling. We’ll talk about what brought you in, what has been weighing on you, and what you would like to change. I’ll listen, ask questions, and help us begin identifying goals for our work together. You don’t need to come in knowing exactly what to say or having everything figured out. We can start wherever you are and take it one step at a time. If you feel ready to begin, choose a time on my calendar that works for you.
