Great to meet you!

Hi, I’m Melissa. I’m a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor (LCMHC) in North Carolina. I provide individual therapy for adults navigating anxiety, depression, and daily stress.

I take the time to understand what you are going through, and together we build tools that help you feel more grounded in your daily life. If you're looking for a compassionate therapist who values clarity, connection, and real progress, I'd be glad to work with you.

My approach to therapy

I start by getting a clear picture of what you're experiencing, and so we can understand the patterns behind your stress, anxiety, or low moods. From there, we build simple, realistic tools that help you feel more grounded and capable in your life. I use strength-based and CBT-informed approaches, but always tailor the work to what feels right for you. My goal is to help you feel understood, supported, and able to make real progress at a pace that feels safe.

What you can expect from me

In our first session, I take time to understand what you're experiencing and what brought you in. We'll go through your symptoms, your daily life, and how you want to feel or function. I move at a calm, steady pace so you never feel rushed or overwhelmed. By the end of the session, you'll have a clearer sense of what's going on and what our work together can look like. My goal for you is to leave feeling heard, understood, and supported.
