Great to meet you!

I’m a licensed clinical social worker with experience supporting older adults and caregivers in skilled nursing, hospital, hospice, memory care, and care management settings. Through this work, I’ve come to deeply appreciate how overwhelming health changes and navigating the healthcare system can feel—especially when it’s all new—and I feel honored to walk alongside clients during these times. I earned my MSW from Winthrop University and take an individualized, trauma-informed approach, integrating ACT, CBT, and DBT with a strong foundation of self-compassion and empowerment. I’m especially passionate about helping caregivers and individuals adjust to change, manage daily stress, and feel less alone in what they’re carrying. My goal is to help you find relief from suffering, reconnect with hope, and discover meaningful ways to move forward.

My approach to therapy

My approach is grounded in a person-in-environment perspective, exploring how life experiences and past environments have shaped how you see the world today, while using active listening, compassion, and understanding to focus on what matters most to you right now. I help clients build practical skills and supportive habits that restore balance, navigate healthcare systems with confidence, advocate for their needs, and find real solutions to the complex challenges that older adults and caregivers often face. I also specialize in grief therapy and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), supporting clients in honoring their losses while gently moving toward acceptance, meaning, and a more sustainable way forward.

What you can expect from me

In our first session, my focus is on getting a full picture of who you are as a person and meeting you exactly where you are right now. I create a supportive, compassionate, nonjudgmental space that is open, safe, and even includes humor when it feels helpful. Together, we’ll begin identifying what matters most to you and what changes you want to work toward.
