Great to meet you!

I have over 10 years of counseling experience working with individuals of all ages who are navigating mental health, behavioral health, and substance use challenges. I believe everyone is capable of meaningful change, and that a strong, trusting relationship between client and counselor is at the heart of that process.

I especially enjoy working with adolescents and young adults as they navigate life's challenges and discover their strengths. My areas of focus include anxiety, depression and mood disorders, grief, ADHD and other neurocognitive concerns, family challenges, and substance use.

My approach to therapy

My approach to therapy is collaborative, supportive, and tailored to each client's individual needs. I primarily practice from a Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) perspective, helping clients recognize how their thoughts, emotions, and behaviors influence one another and develop practical strategies for creating positive change.

I also incorporate person-centered and family systems approaches when appropriate. As a certified Accelerated Resolution Therapy (ART) provider, I can integrate additional evidence-based techniques based on each client's concerns, experiences, and goals.

What you can expect from me

Our first session is an opportunity for us to get to know one another and begin building a comfortable, trusting therapeutic relationship. We will talk about what brought you to therapy, the challenges you are currently experiencing, your background, and what you would like to accomplish.

Together, we will begin identifying your strengths, needs, and goals for therapy. I want you to leave the first session feeling heard and supported, with a clearer understanding of how we can work together to create meaningful change.
