Melissa Watson-Clark

I began my career as an accountant but felt a calling to help others, leading me to earn a Master’s in Social Work from the University of Maryland in 2002. My journey includes roles as a non-profit supervisor, Social Worker with Baltimore County, and a Training/TA Coordinator. I founded the Gardenwood Counseling Center in 2018, combining traditional therapy with holistic practices like Reiki and EFT/tapping. I am dedicated to supporting clients in achieving their personal goals.

I combine traditional therapy with holistic healing practices, bringing a unique approach to counseling sessions. As an herbalist and Reiki practitioner, I incorporate energy medicine techniques such as EFT/tapping, visualization, meditation, and mindfulness. Believing strongly in the therapeutic power of nature, I often encourage clients to step outdoors and find solace in the natural world.

I am committed to providing steadfast support, compassionate care, and effective strategies for healing.
