Great to meet you!
I am a licensed professional counselor in multiple states, with experience working with both juvenile and adult mental health populations. I specialize in supporting adults navigating anxiety, depression, substance use disorders, dual diagnosis concerns, and challenges related to the criminal justice system.
Most recently, I worked as a therapist in a rural community mental health program, providing counseling to individuals with diverse needs. Before that, I served as the Clinical Supervisor of an addiction medicine program, where I led a team of clinicians and certified peer and recovery specialists while supporting an onsite clinic that provided medications for substance use disorders. Alongside these roles, I have also operated my own independent private counseling practice since 2016, offering personalized support to clients in my hometown and across the states where I am licensed.
Beyond my work as a therapist, I have enjoyed engaging with the community through training, outreach, and education. I have provided presentations and workshops to various organizations on topics such as substance use disorder, integrating peer services into community programs, mental health awareness, and reducing stigma.
I earned my Master’s degree in Community Counseling from Edinboro University of Pennsylvania and my Bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice with a minor in Forensic Psychology from Mercyhurst College. I am licensed in both Minnesota and Pennsylvania and am credentialed with the National Board for Certified Counselors. Additionally, I have completed specialized training in the treatment of anxiety disorders.
Outside of work, I love spending time with my husband and our family. We enjoy traveling—especially when it means discovering hidden gems off the beaten path. I also like cooking, attending local festivals, tackling home improvement projects, and cheering on my kids in their extracurricular activities.
