Menachem Hojda is the grandson of 4 Holocaust survivors and was given the name Menachem because its meaning “the one who comforts” describes the hope they felt with the birth of a new generation. Menachem values the miraculous healing made possible when people experience connection and belonging. He teaches at Touro University and U of M. He is a trainer for Oakland Community Health Network, and has lectured around the country about trauma informed care and the trauma of parental divorce.
