Great to meet you!

I’m Meriah Ward, DNP, FNP-BC, PMHNP-BC (they/them), a dual board-certified Family and Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner providing neurodivergent-affirming, trauma-informed, and gender-affirming care. As an autistic, non-binary, queer provider, I create safe, inclusive spaces for healing and self-understanding through evidence-based care that goes beyond symptoms to address the whole person. My work integrates psychotherapy, medication management, and holistic wellness to help each client build comfort, regulation, and confidence in their daily life. Licensed in North Carolina.

My approach to therapy

Holistic psychiatric care designed for neurodivergent, queer, and gender-diverse individuals through evidence-based therapy and medication management, grounded in safety, compassion, and authenticity.

What you can expect from me

I use psychodynamic techniques to manage your mental illness and problems. In your first session, we'll explore what brought you to therapy and decide the most appropriate ways to help you make progress. With psychodynamic psychotherapy, we will look at how your unconscious mind affects your emotions and experience.
