Great to meet you!

Hello, I founded Inclusive Mental Health LLC to provide compassionate, holistic support for people of many backgrounds, ages, and beliefs. I integrate different psychotherapeutic techniques such as psychoanalysis, trauma informed, polyvegal, talk therapy, somatic therapy, LGBTQIA+ informed, mindfulness and yoga therapy, narrative, art, attachment and cognitive therapies as appropriate to your particular individual emotional needs and therapeutic goals.

My approach to therapy

Hello, I am a psychotherapist with over 17 years of experience as a mental health provider. I integrate a variety of therapeutic methods, including psychotherapy, psychoanalysis, somatic therapy, cognitive behavioral therapy, narrative therapy, trauma therapy, addictions therapy, LGBT informed therapy, music, and art therapy. We discuss your treatment plan, and decide on which techniques are best suited to you.

What you can expect from me

You are not required to share anything with me that you do not feel comfortable with. I create a safe space, tell you about some of my skills, and answer any questions you may have. If we determine we are a good fit, then we begin treatment by meeting for an hour in person in my Teaneck office, or via Zoom. During the first couple of sessions I ask you about your family, friends, living environment, work, education, medical, cultural or religious influences, if any. We also discuss your reasons for seeking mental health support at this time, and your goals. I will identify your diagnosis for insurance purposes from the first session. I build your treatment plan based on your individual needs after 3 sessions, which I revise as treatment continues.
