Great to meet you!

Expressing and understanding our feelings, emotions and behaviors can be difficult. It is layered between everyday life, work, school, parenting, relationships and more. No matter the difficulty or complexity presented, I have the ability to help you on your journey of understanding, growth and healing.

A bit about my approach to therapy

My theoretical approach combines Person-Centered Therapy (PCT) and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT). PCT uses the methodology that each person is distinctive and each person has the potential to develop and work in finding their own acceptance. CBT accentuates an approach to problem solving that involves how an individual’s thinking patterns control their behaviors, which can lead to difficulties in life.

What you can expect from our first session

When you complete a session with me you should expect to feel reflective, open and excited for positive change. You should feel confident in your ability to thrive, overcome and grow from any issue that life has presented to you. Overall, you should expect to feel supported by me as you process your healing.
