Great to meet you!

I’m a counselor with 12 years of experience supporting adults navigating substance use, recovery, and co-occurring mental health challenges. I earned my MS in Counseling from Shippensburg University, and my work has included seven years in medication-assisted treatment, experience as an assessment clinician in substance use treatment, and my current role in case management at an inpatient psychiatric facility, where I primarily work with patients in need of medical detox. These experiences have strengthened my commitment to helping people feel supported as they move toward lasting change.

My approach to therapy

My approach is warm, collaborative, and nonjudgmental. I believe therapy starts with being heard, so I focus first on creating a space where you can speak openly and honestly about what you’re facing. I use motivational interviewing and cognitive behavioral therapy to help you better understand what is driving your behaviors, work through ambivalence, and reframe negative thought patterns that may be keeping you stuck. Together, we can build practical strategies that support recovery, resilience, and meaningful progress.

What you can expect from me

During our first session we can focus on getting to know one another and goal setting in an open non-judgmental environment.
