Great to meet you!

With experience at one of the world’s top psychiatric departments at Johns Hopkins Hospital and a Master’s in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from McDaniel College, as well as a Master’s degree from The University of Baltimore, I specialize in helping individuals navigate the most difficult aspects of life with clarity, compassion, trust, and evidence-based care.

My approach to therapy

When life feels overwhelming—when loss, anxiety, trauma, depression, or relationship struggles weigh you down—you don’t have to face it alone. It takes courage to consider that something in your life is not working and that you may need help.

What you can expect from me

I offer a direct yet empathetic approach, creating a space where you can be heard, understood, and empowered. I will never judge you and will be at your side even during the darkest of times.

My path to becoming a therapist was forged through real-life experience—not just textbooks. I worked as a Parole and Probation Officer, and later as a Civil Rights Investigator—roles that revealed how trauma and injustice shape lives. Therapy became the next chapter of that journey. I’m here to help you write yours.
