Great to meet you!

Retired Medical Service Officer in the US Army. Former adjunct professor at a large university in the US providing instruction in Crisis Intervention and Family Systems. In practice for over 20 years working primarily with those suffering from Personality, Psychotic, Anxiety, and Mood Disorders. I've had a variety of contracts to provide counseling to military members/families, provide after incident counseling for trauma victims, and provide counseling to outdoor adventurers around the world.

My approach to therapy

I successfully work with clients suffering a spectrum of debilitating mood disorders such as depression and anxiety. Negative beliefs of self often contribute to such emotional struggles. Though I address unresolved issues, I also utilize Cognitive Behavioral and Solution-Focused techniques to motivate clients toward action.

What you can expect from me

Each session is customized to a client’s unique needs and strengths. Structured, short-term or longer-term series of sessions are available. By booking a consult with me we can discuss your needs and determine whether my practice is a good fit for you.
