Great to meet you!

I really enjoy what I do and I'm thankful that I get to work with so many amazing people. My background in mental health has involved numerous different treatment settings and I believe that this has really benefitted me as a clinician. It has taught me that the most important intervention in therapy is the relationship and connection between client and therapist.

My approach to therapy

I use a person-centered approach to treatment and see myself as a support in helping a person work toward the person they want to be. The types of therapy that I employ regularly are Acceptance and Commitment Therapy and Solution-Focused Brief Therapy. I like the approach of finding solutions and living a life aligned with one's values, rather than focusing on problems and what we believe is wrong with us. Building on our strengths and what works well for us as individuals, is critical to reaching our goals

What you can expect from me

I would like clients to feel supported and understood and know that they are not alone with their struggles. I hope that they learn to appreciate and understand their strengths and live a life aligned with their values.
