I am excellent at educating and my patients so they feel they have all the information they need to move forward with a treatment option that works specifically with them. I listen, I show my patients they matter to me, and I advocate strongly for all identities.
Education, advocation, making sure a patient understands their medications, possible side effects, and why they are taking the medication. I encourage lots of questions.
Patients can expect to walk away feeling like they are in control and I have done my job as their advisor on medication, treatment, and all things mental health.
