Great to meet you!

As a licensed professional counselor with over 30 years of experience in mental health, I am dedicated to helping my clients unlock their full potential. My results-oriented approach ensures that together we can achieve your goals, no matter how ambitious they may be. Let’s embark on this journey to a brighter future!

My approach to therapy

I employ a diverse range of proven techniques from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Social Learning Therapy (SLT), Psychodynamic Therapy, and Existentialism to create a personalized experience that suits your unique needs. By focusing on evidence-based strategies and fostering a strong therapeutic alliance, we can effectively address your specific challenges and aspirations. This tailored approach enhances the effectiveness of therapy, empowering you to achieve meaningful and lasting change in your life.

What you can expect from me

The first therapy session is a key step in understanding your concerns and building trust. During this session, you'll be able to talk about your past, the things that are stressing you out right now, and your symptoms, such as anxiety or depression, as well as why you want treatment. Therapists work hard to create a safe atmosphere by explicitly outlining the rules, permission forms, and privacy protocols. The first session is your chance to tell the therapist what you want to achieve and ask them about their methods and experience. It's normal to be nervous at first, but as the session goes on, many people feel better emotionally, which makes it easier for change to happen.
