Great to meet you!

I work with clients struggling in their recovery due to unresolved family of origin issues, unexpected transitions or crisis, loss or trauma. I have experience working with return to use histories or people who are in active using patterns they want to address. I have 36 years experience in short and long-term inpatient settings as well as outpatient and MOUD/MAT experience. I am trauma informed, EMDR and Brainspotting trained. I have extensive experience in psychodrama and grief facilitation.

My approach to therapy

I often use cognitive behavioral therapy, motivational interviewing, rational emotive therapy and reality therapy. I have extensive training in the use of psychodrama and experiential approaches. I will help you explore the interaction between your thoughts and emotions, the stories you may tell yourself about reality and the self-defeating messages and behaviors that may be blocking you.

What you can expect from me

My goal is that clients can find a new connection with themselves, restore a sense of wonder in their lives and get to the other side of barriers or painful experiences that are blocking them from being fully present in their own lives. I also want to help individuals find a path of recovery that works for them.
