Hello! I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in the state of Missouri. My education includes a bachelors and masters degree in social work. In my career, I have worked with an array of clients from young children to older adults dealing with a variety of life experiences and mental health challenges that include anxiety, grief, life transitions, homelessness, end of life, and much more. I am IFS informed and use this in my practice.
I use a person-centered approach to therapy, treating clients as experts of their own experiences. My goals as a therapist are to show up for clients as a trustworthy and safe person and to empower clients to use the strengths that they have in themselves and in the world around them to get where they want to be in all areas of their lives. I strongly believe in the healing power of storytelling and connection and strongly emphasize this in the therapeutic process.
Clients can expect to feel that they have a safe space to show up exactly as they are to process what they feel is important for them to process to support their wellbeing in all areas of life. Clients can expect to be treated with care, respect, and acceptance while also being kindly challenged when it is beneficial to the therapeutic process.
