Great to meet you!

I’m a licensed professional counselor with a master’s degree in clinical counseling and experience helping adults navigate trauma, anxiety, grief, family conflict, addiction within the family, and major life transitions. My style is warm, direct, and empowering, and I believe you are the expert on your own life. I take a trauma-informed, person-centered approach and help clients better understand patterns, reconnect with their values, and move forward with greater clarity and confidence. I am also a Certified Clinical Trauma Professional and a National Board Certified Clinical Hypnotherapist.

My approach to therapy

My approach to therapy is warm, collaborative, and straightforward. I believe clients are the experts on their own lives, and my role is to walk alongside them as we make sense of what feels confusing, painful, or overwhelming. I help clients notice patterns, reconnect with their values, and make choices that feel more intentional and true to who they are. I bring compassion, curiosity, and honesty into the room, and I am not afraid to gently challenge clients when it may help them see something differently or move forward.

What you can expect from me

In our first session, you can expect a warm, relaxed, and judgment-free space where we begin getting to know you and what brings you to therapy. We’ll talk about what has been happening, what feels most important right now, and what you hope will be different as a result of our work together. I’ll ask questions to help us understand patterns, strengths, and areas where you may be feeling stuck, while moving at a pace that feels manageable. My goal is for you to leave the first session feeling heard, understood, and with a clearer sense of where we can begin.
