Great to meet you!

Aloha! My name is Michele “Shelby” Scofield. I have dedicated the last 20+ years working as a Behavioral Health Therapist in many arenas. I have a great passion for supporting individuals and families on their journey to wellness. I hold a PhD with high distinction in Counseling from Capella University and a Master’s Certificate in Marriage and Family Systems, and have specialized expertise as a Trauma and Addiction Specialist. My commitment to helping others is matched by a love for continuous learning and personal growth.

Outside of my professional work, i enjoy music, painting, and exploring new subjects out of sheer curiosity. My holistic approach to life and therapy reflects a balance of knowledge, creativity, and compassion, creates a nourishing environment used to guide those navigating challenges and seeking fulfillment.

My approach to therapy

My style of therapy is one that puts the client in the driver’s seat and is based fully on client needs. My approach is gently direct or indirect, supportive and affirming.
