Great to meet you!

If you’re questioning whether your relationship is emotionally abusive, narcissistic, or controlling, you’re not alone. Many strong, capable people find themselves walking on eggshells, second-guessing their reality, and wondering, “Is it really that bad?” I work with adults experiencing emotional abuse, narcissistic abuse, coercive control, and domestic violence. My goal is to provide a steady, compassionate space where you can regain clarity, rebuild confidence, and reconnect with your voice.

I also offer Gottman-informed couples therapy for partners seeking healthier communication, stronger relationships, or relationship repair.

I provide virtual therapy across North Carolina.

My approach to therapy

My approach is trauma-informed, collaborative, and paced in a way that feels safe and manageable. As a Certified Clinical Trauma Specialist (CCTS), I work with adults experiencing emotional abuse, narcissistic abuse, coercive control, domestic violence, and childhood trauma. We focus on understanding patterns, reducing self-doubt, strengthening boundaries, and rebuilding a sense of safety and identity. I combine insight with practical tools to help you manage anxiety, reduce trauma symptoms, trust your perceptions, and make decisions that align with your values.

What you can expect from me

You can expect therapy to feel calm, respectful, and non-judgmental. Many people worry they are overreacting or feel ashamed for staying or leaving a difficult relationship. Your reactions make sense in the context of what you’ve experienced. I will meet you where you are, without pressure, and support you as you move forward at your own pace. If you’re unsure where to begin, we can start with a conversation and take things step by step.
