Great to meet you!

Hi, I’m Michelle Brenneman, and I truly love the work I do. Over the years, I’ve had the privilege of working across many areas of mental health, inpatient psychiatric care, outpatient services, emergency settings, teen residential treatment, addiction recovery, and private practice.

At the heart of my practice is a simple belief: your story matters. I want you to feel seen, heard, and supported.

While I draw from evidence-based approaches like REBT, EMDR, and DBT, therapy with me is more than techniques. It’s a collaborative and curious process, inclusive, sometimes filled with laughter, but always grounded in you: your growth, your pace, and your truth.

My approach to therapy

Together we will navigate issues such as trauma, PTSD, grief and loss, identity, life transitions, relationships, religious trauma, eco-anxiety, self-esteem, motivation, whatever is holding you back. We will create space to process what feels heavy, explore who you are, and move toward a life that feels more grounded, connected, and aligned with your values.

What you can expect from me

You don’t need to have it all figured out before you walk in the door, that’s literally why therapy exists. Our time together will be judgment-free, where you can unpack the hard stuff, ask the challenging questions, and maybe discover that you’re actually doing better than your inner critic gives you credit for.
