Great to meet you!

If you are struggling with the heavy weight of past trauma, feeling overwhelmed by persistent anxiety, or trying to manage intense stress-related concerns, please know that healing is possible. I specialize in helping individuals process painful experiences, break free from racing thoughts, and regain a sense of safety and control in their daily lives. Whether you are navigating chronic work stress, coping with deep emotional trauma, dealing with sudden panic attacks, or feeling completely burnt out, I provide a compassionate space to help you heal. My primary goal is to guide you from a state of constant survival into a place of genuine peace, balance, and emotional resilience.

I am proud to offer a culturally sensitive and LGBTQ+ affirming space where you can show up exactly as you are. Together, we will work to heal old wounds while equipping you with the tangible tools you need to handle whatever life throws your way next.

I am a certified in trauma interventions and have over twenty years experience working in various setting, including domestic violence centers, community agencies and in private practice.

My approach to therapy

My Clinical Approach I believe that you are the ultimate expert on your own life. That is why my practice is rooted in a deeply Client-Centered approach, ensuring our sessions move at your preferred pace in a warm, non-judgmental, and validating environment.

To help you achieve lasting relief, I blend traditional and cutting-edge therapeutic modalities tailored to your unique needs:

  • EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing): An advanced, evidence-based approach designed to help your brain safely process and untangle unresolved trauma, distressing memories, and chronic anxiety triggers.
  • Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT): A practical, solution-focused framework to help you identify negative thought patterns, manage daily anxiety symptoms, and build actionable, real-world coping skills.

What you can expect from me

Oftentimes when we experience pain or challenges, we benefit from being heard and validated in a non-judgmental manner. At the first session, I strive to offer the space, process, and the time to feel heard and supported unconditionally, with compassion, care and sincerity. Throughout this process, I gather a holistic and comprehensive history of your experiences and concerns to identify your treatment needs and formulate your treatment goals.
