Great to meet you!

I know reaching out for support can feel like a big step, especially if you’ve been carrying a lot on your own. I work with people impacted by domestic violence, substance use, and mood disorders to move toward greater safety, stability, and hope. My goal is to offer a grounded, nonjudgmental space where you don’t have to go through this alone.

My approach to therapy

I approach every person with unconditional positive regard. I want to hear your story and understand what brought you to this point, then work with you on the chapters you’d like to rewrite. Together, we’ll identify your strengths, set clear goals, and focus on the areas of your life you’re most interested in improving.

What you can expect from me

Our first session is mostly about getting to know you. It’s a bit longer than typical sessions and is often called an intake or assessment. I’ll ask you lots of questions so I can better understand your history and needs, and you’re encouraged to bring your own questions too. This helps us decide together how therapy can best support you moving forward.
