Great to meet you!

Hello and welcome! My name is Michelle and I am a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor in Maryland. I graduated from Bowie State University with my master's degree in 2021 and have been seeing clients virtually since then. I work with adults who struggle with a variety of issues including depression, anxiety, ADHD, trauma, and relationship issues. I'm a mom of 3 and I love working with clients who are pregnant, postpartum, or navigating the joys and challenges of motherhood.

My approach to therapy

I love to learn about you, your background, and history. We work together to see what would be most beneficial for you and what your goals are. I use a variety of different approaches including but not limited to CBT, motivational interviewing, attachment theory, trauma informed practices, and somatic exercises.

What you can expect from me

Our first session will feel more casual. I will ask you questions to get to know you, your background, and what brought you to therapy. I will also share more about myself so we can lay the foundation for a good working relationship.
