Great to meet you!

I am ready to listen and to help you in any way I can. I have helped many people reduce anxiety and depression and I would like to help you as well. I have worked with college students, new moms, men, people dealing with work/life balance, grief and loss and older adults who are going through various issues such as struggles with their adult children and health issues. Let's turn some of those tears into laughter. Let's talk.

My approach to therapy

I use a person centered approach to start out with to see what my client is dealing with and needs. Once I know what my client's issues are I might use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy or Existential therapy as well as mindfulness based stress reduction and pull in some Gestalt exercises or DBT strategies.

What you can expect from me

In our first session I will ask you what brings you to therapy and what you are hoping to accomplish. I will ask for a brief life history and I will also want to know about any psychiatric or pain medication you might be taken and ask about any major health issues you are dealing with.
