Great to meet you!

I'm a Licensed Professional Counselor. After completing training in 2016 at East Central University, I began practicing therapy. In addition to caring for patients through MDLIVE, I have experience practicing in community mental health IOP and private practice. My strengths are in CBT and mindfulness. Outside of behavioral health care and in my free time, I enjoy thrift shopping and spending time with my grandchildren.

My approach to therapy

My therapeutic approach is grounded in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT). My style is collaborative, non-judgmental, and supportive. I believe that lasting change happens when clients gain insight into the connection between their thoughts, emotions, and behaviors. Together, we identify unhelpful patterns and develop practical, evidence-based strategies to create healthier ways of thinking and responding to life’s challenges.

What you can expect from me

In our first session, we’ll get to know each other and discuss what brings you to therapy, including your concerns, goals, and relevant history. I’ll explain my approach, confidentiality, and what to expect moving forward. You’ll also have the chance to ask questions in a safe, supportive space. By the end, we’ll begin outlining a plan that feels right for you.
