Great to meet you!

Thank you for taking the time to read this. It’s a pleasure to introduce myself, and I look forward to connecting if you feel like we are a good fit.

In addition to being a therapist, I am a fierce mental health advocate with lived experience. I am a master’s-level licensed clinician with more than twenty-five years of experience in the behavioral health field.

In today’s world, many people feel the strain of constantly being “on,” with little time left for themselves. I see therapy as a protected space—an opportunity to step away from that pressure and thoughtfully process the parts of yourself and your life that need attention. At its core, therapy is a courageous gift we can give ourselves in the service of greater balance, clarity, and well-being.

I approach the work with genuine respect for each person’s unique story and pace. My role is to walk alongside you, offer perspective and practical tools, and help create the conditions for meaningful change.

If this resonates, I would be glad to talk further and explore whether we might work well together.

My approach to therapy

Ultimately, each person guides what works best for their care. Rather than asking a client to adapt to a fixed therapeutic style, I tailor the work to the individual.

I draw heavily from mindfulness and cognitive approaches. I believe that changing the way a person relates to their thoughts is a key part of meaningful change. Through therapy, people can also gain awareness of the patterns that have contributed to their suffering.

I hold a deep belief that every individual is capable of personal insight, greater awareness, and lasting change. My role is to support that process with respect, curiosity, and practical tools that fit the person in front of me.

What you can expect from me

Our first meeting is a chance for us to get to know each other. We’ll talk about what brings you to therapy and why this feels like the right time to begin.

I also want to learn about what you’re passionate about—what gives you energy and happiness. We’ll explore your strengths and how those strengths can support the changes you’re hoping to make.

This conversation helps us begin building a working relationship and gives us a shared starting point for the work ahead. You’re welcome to ask any questions you have about therapy or how we might work together.
