Great to meet you!

My name is Millesia Wade, and I am a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) because I believe deeply in the power of connection—how feeling seen, heard, and supported can transform a person’s mental health journey. My work is grounded in compassion, cultural humility, and the belief that healing is possible for everyone.

My Background & How I Got Started

My path into mental health care began long before I earned my clinical credentials. I’ve always been drawn to supporting people through difficult moments, helping them make sense of their experiences, and advocating for their well‐being. Over time, I saw how many individuals—especially women, parents, trauma survivors, and people navigating complex life transitions—struggled to find care that felt safe, validating, and truly collaborative.

This inspired me to pursue advanced training in psychiatric nursing and ultimately open Bridge Connection LLC, a practice built on empathy, empowerment, and evidence‐based care.

Education & Professional Training

I am a board‐certified PMHNP, trained to diagnose, treat, and support individuals across the lifespan. My education includes:

Advanced graduate training in psychiatric mental health nursing

Clinical experience in outpatient psychiatry, crisis intervention, and trauma‐informed care

Specialized training in maternal mental health, trauma recovery, and culturally responsive practice

My approach to therapy

My approach blends clinical expertise with a warm, human connection—because both are essential for meaningful healing.

Who I Serve & My Specializations

I work with adults seeking support for a wide range of emotional and mental health needs, with particular focus on:

Anxiety, depression, and mood disorders

Trauma‐related conditions, including PTSD and complex trauma

Maternal mental health, including pregnancy, postpartum, and parenting stress

Survivors of sexual assault or interpersonal violence

Military, law enforcement, and first‐responder mental health

Stress, burnout, and life transitions

ADHD and attention‐related concerns

Medication management with education, transparency, and shared decision‐making

I strive to create a space where clients feel safe to explore their experiences without judgment and where treatment is tailored to their unique needs, identity, and goals.
