Great to meet you!

I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist in Arizona, California, Iowa, North Carolina and South Carolina. I have been practicing since 2004. I specialize in working with individuals, young adults, couples, and families. My approach to therapy is collaborative and focused on helping all clients feel safe and comfortable in sessions so that change is more likely to occur. I am passionate about helping others heal so that they can feel fulfilled in life. I love helping all clients feel unstuck and helping them get back in touch with their authentic selves so that they can know their worth. I believe that we are all capable of healing and that we have the ability to heal ourselves with the right resources and supports in a safe and non-judgmental setting.

I want to help all clients make the progress they want so that they can feel empowered, healed, and authentic. I use a collaborative approach that includes EMDR therapy, Brainspotting therapy, Narrative Therapy, Attachment Theory and Emotionally Focused Therapy. I create an individualized treatment plan with all clients so that they can benefit from the work we are doing.

My approach to therapy

As a systemic therapist specializing in trauma, I view healing as a process that unfolds within the context of relationships—both past and present. I understand that trauma doesn’t occur in isolation; it reverberates through families, partnerships, and communities. In our work together, I help clients explore how patterns of connection, protection, and survival have shaped their experiences and continue to influence their lives today.

My approach is collaborative, compassionate, and grounded in curiosity. I integrate trauma-informed principles with systemic understanding to create a safe space where clients can reconnect with their strengths, re-establish trust in themselves and others, and move toward greater balance and resilience. Together, we work not only to understand what happened, but also to build new ways of relating that support healing and growth.

What you can expect from me

In your first session with me, my goal is to create a space where you feel comfortable, supported, and understood. This session is an opportunity for us to get to know each other and begin exploring what brings you to therapy. You can expect a calm, nonjudgmental environment where you can share openly at your own pace. Together, we’ll begin identifying your goals and hopes for therapy so that you leave the session feeling seen, heard, and encouraged about your healing journey.
