Great to meet you!

Hi, I’m Miranda, an LCSW passionate about helping clients navigate anxiety, trauma, mood challenges, and major life transitions. I combine evidence-based approaches like CBT, DBT skills, and motivational interviewing with a compassionate, collaborative style. I believe therapy should feel both supportive and practical — a place where you gain tools while also feeling genuinely understood.

My approach to therapy

I view therapy as a partnership. Together, we identify patterns that are keeping you stuck and build tools to help you feel more confident and in control. I use practical, evidence-based strategies while also making space for processing emotions and experiences at your own pace. My approach is direct but supportive — I’ll challenge you when needed, but always with care and respect.

What you can expect from me

In our first session, you can expect a welcoming, judgment-free space where we focus on understanding what’s bringing you in. We’ll talk about your current concerns, relevant history, and what you’d like to feel different in your life. My goal is for you to leave feeling heard, supported, and with a clearer sense of direction. We’ll also begin identifying goals and practical next steps.
