Great to meet you!

Misty Bamberg is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (GA & NC) and a Licensed Independent Social Worker-Clinical Practice (SC). She earned her MSW in social work at the University of South Carolina. Misty has experience treating a variety of disorders and conditions to include depression and anxiety; managing stress; building self-esteem and confidence; and coping with life changes such as grief, loss and illness.

My approach to therapy

Misty is passionate about initiating the therapy process by empathetically and non-judgmentally meeting people exactly where and as they are. She also believes it is critical to continually work to destigmatize mental illness and the unique responses of individuals to human adversity.

What you can expect from me

Misty strives to ensure that her client's therapeutic takeaways include the recognition of individual strengths, development of coping skills and the active seeking of personal growth and empowerment.
