Great to meet you!

I believe therapy should be a place where you feel safe, heard, and accepted. Whether you're struggling with anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship concerns, ADHD, grief, or major life transitions, my goal is to help you better understand yourself, develop effective coping strategies, and create meaningful, lasting change.

I earned my Master of Social Work from the University of Texas at Arlington and have experience in private practice, medical social work, community mental health, and pediatric therapy. I am EMDR-trained and integrate evidence-based approaches including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), trauma-informed therapy, Motivational Interviewing, strengths-based therapy, and play therapy when working with children.

I work with clients across the lifespan and enjoy helping people heal from trauma, manage anxiety and stress, improve emotional regulation, strengthen relationships, and build resilience. My approach is collaborative and individualized because I believe every person brings unique strengths and experiences to therapy.

Taking the first step toward therapy can feel overwhelming, but you don't have to do it alone. I would be honored to walk alongside you as you move toward healing, growth, and the life you want to create.

My approach to therapy

I believe that healing begins with feeling safe, understood, and accepted. My role is not to tell you what to do, but to walk alongside you, helping you gain insight, build on your strengths, and develop practical tools that create meaningful, lasting change.

I use evidence-based approaches including EMDR, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), trauma-informed therapy, Motivational Interviewing, and play therapy when appropriate. Every client is different, so I adapt my approach based on your experiences, personality, and goals rather than using a one-size-fits-all model.

I enjoy working with children, adolescents, and adults experiencing trauma, anxiety, depression, ADHD, grief, relationship challenges, and life transitions. Whether you're processing past experiences, learning healthier coping strategies, or navigating a difficult season of life, therapy can be a place to build resilience, confidence, and hope.

I strive to create a supportive, nonjudgmental environment where you feel empowered to explore challenges, celebrate progress, and move toward the life you want to create.

My background in private practice, medical social work, and child mental health allows me to understand how emotional, physical, and life stressors often intersect, and I work with clients to address the whole person—not just the symptoms.

What you can expect from me

During our first appointment, we'll talk about what brought you to therapy, your current challenges, your strengths, and what you hope to gain from the counseling process. I'll ask questions to better understand your experiences, but there is no pressure to share everything right away. We will also discuss your goals and begin creating a treatment plan that reflects what is most important to you.

By the end of our first session, my hope is that you feel heard, understood, and have a clearer sense of how we can work together. Therapy is a collaborative process, and we'll move at a pace that feels comfortable while focusing on meaningful progress toward your goals.

I believe every person has strengths, even when life feels overwhelming. Together, we'll identify those strengths and use them as a foundation for healing, growth, and lasting change.
