Great to meet you!

Hi, I’m Molly Johnson, and I’m passionate about helping people heal, deepen insight, and feel more confident navigating life’s challenges. I work exclusively through virtual therapy and many clients are surprised by how connected, supportive, and effective online sessions can feel. I often support individuals struggling with anxiety, depression, stress, emotional dysregulation, relationship challenges, burnout, perfectionism, and feeling overwhelmed by life transitions. You may find yourself overthinking, people-pleasing, shutting down emotionally, or feeling stuck in patterns that no longer serve you. At the heart of my work is genuine listening, thoughtful guidance, and someone firmly in your corner as you build the skills and clarity needed for meaningful change.

My approach to therapy

My approach is collaborative, person-centered, and solutions-oriented. I integrate Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to help clients develop practical tools for emotional regulation, distress tolerance, healthier thinking patterns, and improved communication. While processing and venting are important parts of therapy, I believe lasting change happens when insight is paired with accountability and skill-building. Together, we’ll identify triggers, challenge negative thought cycles, strengthen coping strategies, and create clear, realistic goals that move you toward a more balanced and grounded life.

What you can expect from me

In our first session, we’ll focus on getting to know one another and understanding what brought you to therapy -whether that’s anxiety, low mood, stress, relationship strain, or feeling stuck. We’ll explore your goals and begin identifying patterns that may be contributing to current challenges. My goal is for you to leave feeling heard, supported, and hopeful, with a clearer sense of direction and a plan for how we’ll work together to help you become the most confident and capable version of yourself.
