Great to meet you!

The path to becoming a therapist was not paved in gold, I can tell you that much! I've been counseling people for 7+ years. In that time, my specialties have come to include ADHD, addiction, anxiety, depression, relationship issues and more. Before becoming a counselor, I worked as a writer, teacher, dog walker... I'm a lifelong student of the head and the heart, and I can't wait to truly get to know who you are, and hopefully to share with you what I've learned along the way.

My approach to therapy

My approach to therapy is practical, compassionate and nuanced. I love offering clients actionable tools via proven practices like CBT, DBT blended with traditional psychoanalytic and psychodynamic principles. If you want both practical, actionable advice, AND you have the courage to go deep, explore your shadow, get at the root of your problems and meet your true self... I can take you there.

What you can expect from me

My goal is to get to know the real you, figure out what's working in your life and what needs work. My approach is at once compassionate and pragmatic, and never one-size-fits-all. In sessions with me, you can expect to have the freedom to focus on what's meaningful to you, with guidance and structure from me to keep us on track. Together, we can build a treatment plan tailored to your lifestyle and goals, on your timeline, with you in mind.
