Great to meet you!

I have over 33 years of experience as a generalist. I have experience in behavioral support and crisis management. I employ methods of treatment from CBT, ACT and Family systems theory, I hold Masters' degrees in both Social Work and Education, which is helpful in assisting clients to understand their diagnosis and create treatment plans that are client focused. I am a certified EMDR therapist, as well as a certified professional coach and mediator.

My approach to therapy

I meet my clients where they are at. I am compassionate and empathic, but this is a collaborative process and we decide when and how we will go forward. Accountability is important, but I can also give emotional support to those struggling with grief and trauma.

What you can expect from me

I am strengths based. I always want my clients to feel good when they leave my sessions and I am very mindful of this. My goal is to help people recognize their own thinking traps and identify new self care strategies. Depending on where people are in their therapy, I will hold people accountable for their goals, but I can be flexible, because sometimes 'life happens'.
