Hi! I'm Monica Hart, a licensed clinical social worker (LCSW) based outside of Charlotte, NC. I work statewide via telehealth to support clients on their journey to wellness. I work with adolescents and adults that may need assistance with anxiety, depression, trauma, life transitions, grief, and other mental health concerns. Whether you're feeling overwhelmed by work or school, experiencing family dynamic difficulties, or facing personal challenges, we can explore this together.

My therapeutic approach is integrative, drawing from evidence-based modalities tailored to meet your unique needs while also honoring your personal experiences. I believe in fostering a strong therapeutic alliance built on trust, empathy, and humor. Several modalities are utilized: CBT, DBT, motivational interviewing, solutions focused, strength-based psychotherapy and play therapy. With over 15 years of experience in multiple mental health settings, I believe in meeting people where they are.

I provide an unbiased, warm environment where you feel heard and supported. I offer therapeutic tools to address your challenges effectively while we work towards achievable goals and further empowerment. Therapeutic tools and resources are offered during session. We will collaboratively explore barriers you're facing, uncover underlying patterns that might be hindering your progress and create ways to face these head on!
