Great to meet you!

For over 20 years, I have shown up for people in the places where life gets hard — public schools, universities, ministries, and communities. Each of those settings taught me something different about what people need when they're struggling, and together they've shaped me into the therapist I am today: genuinely person-centered, deeply experienced, and completely committed to meeting you where you are. I specialize in anxiety, depression, grief, and adjustment issues — the kind of challenges that can make you feel like you've lost your footing, your sense of self, or your sense of what's possible. I've been in rooms with people at their lowest, and I know that the right support, offered with honesty and care, can change everything. I am here to be that for you.

My approach to therapy

I believe that healing happens in three dimensions — mind, body, and spirit — and that real, lasting change requires tending to all of them. My approach is holistic and deeply adaptive, drawing on Motivational Interviewing, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, and Reality Therapy, among other methods, because I know that no single approach fits every person. What I adapt to fit every person is my commitment: to help you gain balance, reclaim your sense of self, and experience what whole living actually feels like. I won't hand you a template or run you through a checklist. I'll listen, I'll ask good questions, and together we'll build something that actually works for you.

What you can expect from me

You don't need to come in with a plan. You don't need to have the "right" way to describe what you're going through. You just need to show up — and I will take it from there. In our first session, I want to understand you: what's weighing on you, what you've tried, what you're hoping to feel on the other side of this. I create a space that is warm, unhurried, and free of judgment — one where the hard places you've been carrying finally have somewhere to land. My goal is simple: that you leave feeling heard, and that you walk out with even a small sense that things can be different. Because they can. And you don't have to get there alone.
