Great to meet you!

Many people come to therapy feeling overwhelmed by anxiety, depression, stress management concerns, relationship issues, or the emotional weight of trauma and major life changes. You may be noticing overthinking, low motivation, self-doubt, communication problems, conflict in important relationships, or patterns that keep repeating no matter how hard you try to change them. I work with individuals, couples, and families who want more clarity, healthier relationships, and practical tools for moving forward.

My approach is relational, compassionate, and tailored to the person in front of me. I draw from evidence-based and attachment-focused therapies to help clients better understand themselves, strengthen emotional awareness, and create more meaningful change. Whether you are working through anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship issues, family conflict, or the effects of past experiences on your present life, therapy can be a place to slow down, make sense of what is happening, and begin building something healthier..

My approach to therapy

I use an integrative approach that may include CBT, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), (DBT), attachment-based therapy, emotionally focused therapy, family systems, family/marital therapy, Gottman Method, person-centered therapy, and strength-based therapy. That means our work can be adapted to your goals, whether you need help with anxiety, depression, trauma, stress management, relationship issues, or improving communication and connection.

CBT helps us notice and challenge thought patterns that may be fueling anxiety or depression. ACT helps you respond to difficult thoughts and emotions with more flexibility while staying connected to your values. DBT can strengthen emotional regulation, distress tolerance, and interpersonal skills. Attachment-based, emotionally focused, and relational approaches help us understand how early experiences and relationship patterns may still be shaping how you connect, communicate, and cope today. When working with couples or families, Gottman Method and family systems work can help reduce conflict, improve communication, and create healthier ways of relating. My goal is to help you feel understood while also giving you practical tools that support real progress outside of session!

What you can expect from me

In the first session, we will talk about what brought you to therapy, what has been feeling most difficult, and what you hope will be different moving forward. Whether you are coming in for anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship issues, family stress, or support with stress management, the goal is to start building a clear picture of what you are carrying and what kind of support would be most helpful. You do not need to have everything figured out before you begin.

You can expect a collaborative, nonjudgmental space where we start identifying patterns, clarifying goals, and deciding together which therapy approaches best fit your needs. I want therapy to feel supportive, grounded, and useful - a place where you can better understand yourself, strengthen your relationships, and build the tools needed to create meaningful change!
