Great to meet you!

I am so excited you are here! I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker who has been working in the field of social work for over eight years. I have a Master's Degree in Social Work and Criminology from Florida State University and am licensed in the state of North Carolina. My career has focused on supporting people with neurodevelopmental disorders, and mental health needs throughout the lifespan.

My approach to therapy

My mission is to create a warm, welcoming space, even in a virtual setting, for you to express and define where you see your life going. Then we will work together to find a path that is most supportive for you. The therapy modalities I use most often are Solution Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT), Motivational Interviewing (MI) and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT). However, being a helpful therapist means being flexible, and we will find the modality that is most helpful for you.

What you can expect from me

My goal for you is to walk away from our sessions with hope and optimism for the future. I also focus on tangible things that you can take away from sessions. My belief is that when we see improvement in our lives, even tiny improvements, that builds confidence in our own ability to keep moving forward.
