Great to meet you!

My style is collaborative and supportive, but also direct. When appropriate, I will challenge you to consider different perspectives, recognize patterns, and make meaningful changes.

My approach to therapy

I take a holistic approach to understanding my clients. Our current thoughts, emotions, relationships, and behaviors are often shaped by experiences throughout our lives. Because of this, therapy may involve exploring earlier experiences, including childhood and family dynamics, even when working with adults later in life. My goal is to help you better understand yourself while developing practical strategies that support the changes you want to make. I view therapy as a collaborative process, so we will work together to determine what is most helpful for you and adjust our approach as your needs and goals evolve. You are encouraged to ask questions, provide feedback, and be an active participant throughout the process.

What you can expect from me

Our first session is an opportunity for us to get to know one another and begin identifying what you would like to accomplish in therapy. We will discuss what brings you to therapy, your goals, relevant experiences and concerns, and what you hope to get out of therapy. I will also explain my approach to therapy and what you can expect from our sessions.
