Great to meet you!

Sometimes the experiences that hurt us most are the ones that continue shaping how we see ourselves, trust others, and move through the world. Hi, I'm Mona Lee, and I bring over 3 years of experience supporting individuals through life's emotional challenges. I earned my Master of Arts from Bethel Seminary and provide care in Minnesota. I work with clients navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, PTSD, relationship issues, family conflict, cultural and ethnic concerns, stress, and difficult life transitions. I understand that our experiences, relationships, family backgrounds, and cultural identities all influence how we feel and connect with others. My goal is to provide a warm, compassionate, and nonjudgmental space where you can feel comfortable being yourself, make sense of what you've been carrying, and begin building a life that feels more grounded, connected, and fulfilling.

My approach to therapy

My approach is warm, collaborative, and grounded in the belief that every person deserves to feel heard, respected, and understood. I recognize that healing looks different for everyone, and I want our work together to reflect your unique experiences, values, and goals. In session, we may explore the connections between your thoughts, emotions, relationships, and past experiences while identifying patterns that may be keeping you stuck. We can also work on developing healthier coping skills, improving communication, strengthening boundaries, and finding practical ways to manage difficult emotions. I believe meaningful change begins with understanding yourself more deeply, and my role is to walk alongside you with compassion, curiosity, and encouragement as you discover what healing looks like for you.

What you can expect from me

Our first session is an opportunity for us to get to know one another and begin building a relationship where you feel comfortable, supported, and respected. I understand that sharing personal experiences with someone new can feel intimidating, so there is no pressure to tell your entire story or have everything figured out right away. We'll talk about what brought you to therapy, what has been feeling difficult, and what you hope will change through our work together. I'll take time to learn about your experiences, strengths, relationships, and goals while giving you space to ask questions and share at your own pace. Together, we'll begin identifying a direction that feels meaningful and realistic. My hope is that you leave feeling heard, understood, and encouraged about the steps ahead.
