Muni Gwanyebit is a board-certified psychiatric nurse practitioner with over 5 years of experience. Muni is passionate about providing quality, compassionate, and comprehensive mental health services. Her background includes adolescent and adult psychiatry. Her expertise includes but not limited to; Anxiety Disorders, Stress related Disorders, ADHD/ADD, Depression, Mood Disorders, Bipolar Disorder, Personality Disorders, Schizophrenia spectrum, PTSD, and medication management.

A client can expect their initial visit with Muni to include a comprehensive psychiatric evaluation, determination of treatment goals and education about diagnosis and available treatment options, with special attention to individual needs, including attention to each patient's personal history, his or her specific context, stressful or traumatic life experiences or circumstances.

My goal for my clients is to feel empowered to treat their illness through supportive education in a stigma free environment. Muni possesses strong clinical skills enhanced by natural ability to build rapport with clients and families. Muni enjoys helping people of diverse background and finds her work very rewarding. Muni is able to prescribe medication as a viable option, she has been successful with the holistic approach of listening and educating the patient before resorting to medication.
