Great to meet you!

I am a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner with 11 years of nursing experience, including work in medical-surgical and psychiatric settings. My background includes extensive experience in community-based and high-acuity mental health care, including ACTT and CST services.

I work with adults experiencing ADHD, mood disorders, anxiety disorders, trauma-related conditions, psychotic disorders, and co-occurring substance use disorders. I am especially comfortable supporting individuals with complex presentations, including those with medical comorbidities, housing instability, or a history of feeling misunderstood or underserved in the mental health system.

I value building genuine therapeutic relationships and believe that care is most effective when clients feel respected, informed, and actively involved in decisions about their treatment.

My approach to therapy

My approach is collaborative, trauma-informed, and person-centered. I believe the most meaningful progress happens when you feel heard, respected, and actively involved in your care. I take time to understand your experiences, concerns, and goals, and we work together to create a treatment plan that feels realistic and aligned with your needs.

I provide thoughtful, evidence-based medication management with a strong focus on safety, clarity, and long-term well-being. I prioritize open communication and education, so you feel informed and comfortable with your treatment options. My goal is to help you feel better in a way that’s sustainable, supportive, and tailored to your life, moving at a pace that feels right for you and adjusting as needed along the way.

What you can expect from me

I bring a calm, grounded, and nonjudgmental presence to sessions. I recognize how trauma, chronic stress, physical health conditions, and social determinants of health can affect emotional well-being. My style is supportive yet practical, and I focus on helping clients build insight, confidence, and sustainable coping strategies over time.

I am especially attentive to continuity of care and collaboration with other providers when needed. My goal is not only symptom relief, but helping clients feel more stable, understood, and capable of managing their mental health in the context of their real lives.
