Great to meet you!

Welcome—I’m so glad you’re here. Whether you are navigating a difficult life transition, working through individual or generational trauma, or managing anxiety, depression, or a chronic condition, I want you to know that your challenges do not define you. You don't have to walk this path alone.

My approach to therapy

My approach to therapy is compassionate, trauma-informed, and grounded in cultural humility. I started my career as a Special Education teacher, which inspired me to earn my Ph.D. in Rehabilitation Counseling and Counselor Education. Today, as a practicing counselor and university professor, I integrate evidence-based practices—like Cognitive Behavioral, Narrative, Mindfulness, and Solution-Focused therapies—tailored entirely to your unique journey.

What you can expect from me

Together, we’ll focus on building healthy boundaries, breaking dysfunctional patterns, boosting your self-esteem, and developing practical coping strategies. I am passionate about creating a safe, empowering space where every background and identity is honored. When you're ready, I look forward to walking alongside you as you heal and grow.
